  1. Hi Coree,
I like the information that you have provided us with, along with a video that you got your information from. Well done!

My favourite fact is that not all of the pollution gets blamed on us, but obviously most of it is blamed on us. I also like that you considered cars and gasoline because that is very bad for our environment, but people rely on it.

What is your opinion on pollution?

    1. My Oponion is that the pollution may come from the things we use that needs oil and gas....If the gas gets into the atmosphere then it can get drained out by other things. It may be us doing it but who knows...

  2. Hi Coree,

It's Leslie here, a member of the Summer Learning Journey team.

You've done a good job of giving 3 facts about pollution that you've learned from this video. It's true that not all air pollution comes from human activity. We had huge wild fires in western Canada this past summer. The smoke was so thick that it covered 2 of our provinces! That's an enormous amount of smoke! It made it hard for people living in those provinces to breathe when they were outside and people who have asthma, in particular, were told to stay indoors as much as possible. Air pollution is dangerous to people's health and, of course, it's very dangerous to animals and plant life as well. I can only imagine how the burning of huge forested areas affected the animals that normally live there!!

I hope you never find your beautiful city polluted with air pollution. Hopefully we'll all find ways of living more carefully on the planet so that fewer of us drive cars or cause pollution by some other means.

I'm glad that you've chosen to be part of this Summer Learning Journey program! I'll continue to enjoy reading your blog!

    Cheers,

    Leslie
