Summer Learning Journey has sadly came to a end...
I hope you guys liked coming along with me :)
Let's answer some questions! :) <3
What is one thing that you learned from participating in the Summer Learning Journey programme this year?
I learnt that even when you are behind you can catch up Like I did and also I learnt new things about animals and pollution
What is one thing that surprised you?
That the main pollution comes fromt he things we use like cars,Motors etc..
What is one thing that concerned or upset you?
That kiwi's are being eaten by rats and stuff..
What is one thing that you (or your family) can do, moving forward, to help protect our natural environment?
We can plant more plants and trees to protect pollution and stuff :)
If you have any questions please tell me in the comments! <3
Thank you for coming along this journey with me! :) <3
Have a great year! <3
Hi Coree,
ReplyDeleteWell done!!! You've made it all the way to the end of this Summer Learning Journey program. What a lot of work you've done over your summer holiday!! I hope you're really pleased with your accomplishment!!! It will be very fun to come to your school and to applaud you for being a part of this experience.
I'm glad that you've learned so much about how to live carefully on the planet and about some of the problems that we, as humans, have to solve in order to reduce pollution and to help other species live healthfully.
It's been a real pleasure to read your blog!!
Cheers,
Leslie
MÅrena Coree,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Megan and like Sophie, I am a Summer Learning Journey cluster manager. Leslie and I work with the Tamariki in the Ako Hiko cluster, which is also here in Auckland.
First of all, congratulations on completing the Summer Learning Journey. What an incredible accomplishment that is to finish all 60 activities. We all know that it takes a lot of time and energy to read and answer so many. I hope you have still found time to energy the beautiful sunshine outside. Ka pai, Coree!
Second of all, what an incredible post you have put together to end your journey. It looks like you have learnt a lot throughout the last 6 weeks. I agree with you, it was shocking to learn the amount of pollution that cars create. I also learnt that here in New Zealand, we have the highest car ownership rate. That means that half of the population own cars.
Once again, well done Coree. I hope you are proud of your achievement, I am sure Sophie and the Manaiakalani team are very proud of you.
Nga mihi,
Megan :)
Kia Ora Coree,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Rachel and I am responsible for the Summer Learning Journey programme. It is wonderful to see that you have made your way through the entire programme. WOW! Congratulations - this is a huge accomplishment. I can see that both Megan and Leslie have already posted a comment on your blog. We are all so proud of you for finishing all 60 activities. It's true that you can catch up - even if you leave your blog or your learning for a little while you can always come back, pick it up again, and continue on!
We hope that you will continue to have a great summer and an even better year at Glen Taylor. I know that Sophie is really looking forward to coming into school to hand out the certificates and prizes for the top bloggers. I'm also really hoping to come along and I might even bring my mom (Leslie) who is going to be visiting us from Canada.
Hope to see you soon!
Bye for now,
Rachel :)
I'm proud of myself to because I was behind by like 2 weeks or something so yeah!
