ReplyDeleteIt's Leslie here, a member of the Summer Learning Journey team, reading your blog from my home in far away Canada. Isn't it amazing that I can live on the opposite side of the world and yet participate in the same program as you?
You've given one great activity that you and your family could do to help keep our planet healthy. Planting trees and plants is a wonderful way of improving the environment because trees breathe in carbon dioxide, which we don't want in the air, and breathe out oxygen, which we do need more of. Good idea!!
Do you have any other ideas about what you could do to live more carefully on the earth? I know that I try to walk to do my errands, or ride a bike, rather than drive our car. That reduces the amount of pollution in the air from burning fuel.
